DAY 1: Arrival at the Orinoco Delta
An English-speaking guide will meet you and the group at the airport of Maturin. Transfer by road to the river port "Boca de Uracoa" where we embark a motorized boat and navigate (about 1hr30) on the Manamo River to the Warao Camp built upon stilts at Boca de Tigre. Lunch and outing to fish piranhas. First contact with the flora, fauna and the Delta Warao indigenous community. Swim in the river and return to camp for a local regional dinner. Night outing to catch, observe and release snakes (e.g. peaks) and caimans with the use of a headlamp. Overnight at camp built on stilts.

DAY 2: Flooded forest and contact with the Indian Warao
After breakfast we will have an excursion on a traditional Warao canoe in the narrow canals of the Delta. Observation of numerous bird species, monkeys, freshwater dolphins and other sights of the Delta. Walk to explore, see and learn about the flooded forest guided by a local Warao Indian. He will explain to us the medicinal and culinary use of the local trees and plants. Return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, swim in the river and visit of a Warao community built on stilts. Return to camp for dinner and optional night outing. Back to camp for overnight.

DAY 3: Flora and fauna of the Delta
After breakfast, last tour by boat to explore the exceptional flora and fauna of the Orinoco Delta. Return to camp for lunch and departure by boat to the port of "Boca de Uracoa" (about 1hr30). Transfer by road to the airport of Maturin (possibility to book a hotel night if necessary to Maturin).
