DAY 1: Arrival in Caracas
An English-speaking guide will meet you and the group at the airport. Domestic flight to Puerto Ordaz*. After an hour’s drive, we arrive at the hotel.  Dinner at your expense.  * If your international flight arrives late to be able to take a flight to Puerto Ordaz, then we will spend the night in a hotel in Caracas and take a flight to Puerto Ordaz the next day early in the morning.

DAY 2: Araimatepuy, first contact with the Pemón Indian population
Breakfast and transfer by vehicle through the Bolivar state. Lunch in a local roadside restaurant. Arrival at the end of the afternoon to the Pemón Indian Community of Araimatepuy. Get to see and learn the Pemón way of life. Dinner and overnight at camp.

DAY 3: Arrival at the Pemón Indian Community of Paraitepuy
Breakfast and visit to a "casabe" production, which is the traditional Venezuelan bread made from cassava/yuca. Excursion on a 4x4 to the Gran Sabana. Swim at the Salto Kawi Cascade and visit to the Kama Merú Cascade. Lunch in a local roadside restaurant. Arrival at the end of the afternoon to the Pemón Indian Community of Paraitepuy. Installation in cabins with a wonderful view on Mount Roraima. Dinner at local residents home.

DAY 4: First day of the trek (Tek River)
After breakfast we will start our hike of approx 4hr30 from Paraitepuy to Tek River where we will camp for our lunch and install our tent (1050m high). Enjoy a well-deserved swim on the River Tek. Dinner and overnight in tent.

DAY 5: Second day of the trek (Base camp)
Breakfast and outing for our second day of hiking (about 5hr30). At this stage, we will cross 2 rivers by foot. Picnic lunch on the way. Arrival to Base Camp (1870m high) where we will install our tents. Swim in the river. Dinner and overnight in tent.

DAY 6: Third day of the trek (Roraima ascension and exploration)
After breakfast, we will start to climb the Roraima (3hr30). Picnic lunch on the peak (2700m high) followed by our walk to explore the Crystal Valley (2hr). Return to camp to install our tents under enormous monoliths that provide shelter. Dinner.

DAY 7: Fourth day of the trek (Roraima exploration)
Breakfast. Day dedicated to the visit and exploration of the Roraima (7hr). Visit to different points of interest and observation of the endemic fauna and flora of this tabletop mountain. Picnic lunch and return at the end of the afternoon to the camp. Dinner and overnight in tent.

DAY 8: Fifth day of the trek (Tek River)
After breakfast, we will start our walk down from the Roraima to Base Camp (3hr). Picnic lunch. We will continue walking to the Tek River(4hr30). Installation of the tents and swim in the river. Dinner and overnight in tents.

DAY 9: Sixth day of the trek (Return to Paraitepuy)
Breakfast and walk outing on the last day of trek (4h30) to the Pemón Indian Community of Paraitepuy where we will prepare ourselves to take our 4X4 vehicle. Lunch in a roadside local restaurant and drive to Las Claritas Village. Dinner and overnight at inn.

DAY 10: Arrival at the Orinoco Delta
Breakfast and road trip to the river port "Boca de Uracoa" where we embark a motorized boat and navigate (about 1hr30) on the Manamo River to the Warao Camp on the riverbanks: first observation of the fauna and flora and first contact with the Delta Warao indigenous population. Local regional dinner and overnight at camp.

DIA 11: Flooded forest and nocturne excursion
After breakfast we walk to explore, see and learn about the flooded forest guided by a local Warao Indian. He will explain to us the medicinal and culinary use of the local trees and plants. Return to camp for lunch. Excursion in a traditional Warao canoe: ride in the canals to observe the flora and fauna of the Delta and swim in the river. Return to camp for dinner and night outing to catch, observe and release snakes (e.g. peaks) and caimans with the use of a headlamp. Back to camp for overnight.

DAY 12: Arrival on the Caribbean coast
After breakfast, return by boat to the Boca de Urocoa (about 1hr30) and drive to the Mochima National Park. Roadside lunch, arrival at the inn. Free afternoon on the beach and dinner in a seaside restaurant.

DAY 13: Beach and coral reefs
After breakfast, boat trip to various islands and beaches, snorkel with diving mask to view coral reefs and marine fauna. Dolphins spotting. Picnic lunch on beach and return in the late afternoon to the inn. Dinner at seaside restaurant.

  DAY 14: Return to Caracas
Transfer to Caracas Maiquetia International Airport by ground transportation. Lunch at your expense on roadside restaurant followed by your international return flight.

  • Sporting trek at the Roraima and discovery of the endemic flora and fauna of this ecosystem.
  • Identification of howler monkeys, freshwater dolphins and also the discovery of the culture and way of life of the Warao Indians of the Delta.
  • Excursion on the beaches of Mochima National Park and snorkeling in coral reefs and viewing of marine fauna at the park.
